THIS SERIES IS ABOUT reconnecting with the land, the solitude of living with nature and the beauty of the landscape at the edge of the Canadian Shield. Present times illustrate societies need for instant gratification and continuous connection, often leaving a disconnect with one’s self and nature. Lorimer’s colourful urban and rural landscapes offer a reprieve from our busy lives allowing the viewer to discover what is important in life, what makes you happy and feel alive.
